Result: 80.00The saving is the price times the percentage divided by 100; the final price is what is left. 20 % off 100 saves 20 and leaves 80. Two discounts do not add up: 20 % and then 10 % is 28 % off, not 30 %, because the second one is taken from the already reduced price.
Held fixed: Original price 100.00.

Multiply the price by the discount divided by 100 to get the saving, then subtract it. 100 at 20 % off is 100 × (1 − 0.20) = 80, a saving of 20.
Stacked discounts multiply, they do not add. 100 at 20 % off is 80, then 10 % off 80 is 72 — a combined 28 % off, not 30 %, because the second discount comes off the already reduced price.
No. The calculator works on the price you enter and neither adds nor removes tax. If your shelf price excludes tax, the final price excludes it too.
The whole price comes off, so the final price is 0 and the saving equals the original price. Anything above 100 % is meaningless for a single price, which is why the field stops there.
Whichever one you enter. Price and final price carry no currency symbol, so euros in means euros out, dollars in means dollars out.
