Frequently asked questions
How are these countdowns calculated?
Each countdown uses your device's local time to compute the number of whole days between today and the event's next occurrence. Recurring events (holidays, seasons, observances) automatically roll forward to their next date once the current one has passed.
Do recurring events update automatically?
Yes. The hub is statically generated and revalidated daily, so every countdown always points at the next upcoming occurrence. You never have to refresh manually.
Can I add an event to my calendar?
Open any event's detail page and use the Add to Calendar button to download an iCal file or open the event directly in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar.
Why don't I see past events?
The hub hides events whose next occurrence has not been resolved yet. Holidays and seasonal events automatically surface their next date, so the list always shows what's coming up.
