Use °F = °C × 9/5 + 32. For example, 20 °C equals 68 °F.
Use °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9. For example, 98.6 °F equals 37 °C.
Kelvin is the SI unit of temperature and starts at absolute zero. 0 K = −273.15 °C. To convert: K = °C + 273.15.
Absolute zero is the lowest possible temperature: 0 K = −273.15 °C = −459.67 °F.
At −40°: −40 °C equals exactly −40 °F. It is the only point where both scales read the same value.
